My parents bought me a Wii a couple of years ago for my birthday and my family and I have so much fun with it. We were very excited to try out 3 Wii games from THQ – The Biggest Loser Challenge, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune.
The Biggest Loser Challenge is based on The Biggest Loser television series. The game includes 125+ exercises in six different environments, including “The Biggest Loser” Ranch, “The Biggest Loser” Gym, “The Biggest Loser” Yoga Area and “The Biggest Loser” Boxing Ring. The game is designed for use with the controller and/or the Wii Balance Board, plus you can add in additional tools such as resistance bands and more.
Based on the TV game shows, both Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune are game-show style games. You can play by yourself against computer opponents or battle up to 3 real-life opponents. The games each feature the real hosts of the show – Alex Trebek, Pat Sajak, and Vanna White and include “commercial break” mini-games.
First, I say that over the past couple of years, I have put on a few extra pounds (my wife is an awesome cook) so I thought The Biggest Loser Challenge game would be a great way to help me get back in shape. Let me tell you, it really gives you a workout. It works out your whole body , which is great. So after my 18 minute assessment and 20 minute workout, I fell to the floor and stayed there for two hours!!!! If you stick to the plan, you can really get in shape. My legs are still aching.
The Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy games are awesome as well. We love having Jeopardy tournaments to see who is the smartest in the family!
