Review:
If there was a 12-Step Program for pen addiction, my wife Sandy would be the first to sign up. She loves them. Our house is full of all different kinds of pens in all different shapes, colors, sizes, ink colors, ball point, gel, roller ball, even fountain pens. If she can walk out of the store without buying a pen, it is nothing short of a miracle. Even with all the choices she has the one pen I see her using time and time again is her Faber-Castell Ondoro that she got several years ago. She loves it!!!
It was a difficult task but I did pry the package out of Sandy’s hands that contained the 2 Faber-Castell pens that I was to review. I received the Basic Black Carbon Rollerball and the E-Motion Guilloche Rhombus Rollerball. The Basic is long and skinny while the E-Motion is short and fat. The writing quality of both pens is very smooth and flawless. The thing I like both about the ink is it does not smear. This is an important quality, especially if you are left-handed. I have two lefty kids so I know how important that is.
I will say, as a guy, I think the E-Motion is a bit feminine. It is very elegant looking. It also happens to be Sandy’s favorite of the two. I liked the Basic best, it just a personal preference. I like the thinner pen.
Lastly, I will say that I have had several opportunities to try many of Faber-Castell’s products and they all are made of high quality materials with a professional yet modern look.
One lucky reader will win 2 Faber-Castell pens with a value of more than $100!!
