Review:

It would be easy to say that I love pizza. In fact, I should have been Italian.  I even met my wife at a pizza restaurant! So when Freschetta asked my to try out their new Freschetta FlatBread Pizza, I jumped at the opportunity.

I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into the delightfully thin and crispy crust.

We really wanted to try the Zesty Italian with pepperoni, Genoa salami, Italian sausage and a blend of mozzarella and asiago cheese. We soon discovered however that our local grocery stores had yet to stock their shelves with the FlatBread Pizzas. But no worries, Freschetta has many other pizza choices to choose from! We decided on the Naturally Rising Supreme Pizza with sausage, green & red peppers, pepperoni and onions. Yummy!

At first bite, I was struck by the quality of the toppings. They tasted fresh and high quality and the crust… oh my! Hands down the best frozen pizza I have ever eaten! And trust me I have eaten a lot of them.

The thing I like most about the Freschetta brand is the unique combination of toppings like roasted portabella mushroom and spinach. Are you kidding me? Normally you would have to go to a swanky over priced pizzeria to get a pizza like that! I also love all the choices in crusts that Freschetta offers:

Be on the watch for the new FlatBread Pizzas! (even though I didn’t get to try them I hear they are amazing)

Freschetta is now my favorite lunchtime treat!
