Best Buy – Your Go To for Cameras & Camcorders This Holiday!
The holidays are here! Time to start getting those gift ideas sorted out and I would say a new camera would be a great gift! Best Buy is THE go to place for all things cameras and camcorders in my opinion. They even put together a Holiday Gift Center

When Sandy was pregnant with our 4th child, she asked for “one of those new digital cameras”. She got her digital camera back then and has had many upgrades since. In fact, she has become quite the photographer and it has saved us a lot of money. We have not paid for family portraits, school pictures, dance pictures, or even senior portraits because Sandy did them herself and a fantastic job I might add!
Every time Sandy has wanted an upgrade on her camera or a new lens, her go to place is Best Buy. They have great prices, a great selection, and a great, knowledgeable staff, so why go anywhere else! They really know their stuff about cameras. Her latest purchase was a wide-angle lens so she could take family photos of our extended family at our last reunion. The salesman at Best Buy gave her some great advice and she loves her lens.
So here’s a thought. In stead of putting a new camera or camera upgrade on your wish list, get it before the holidays so you will have it to capture all of those wonderful memories you will be making! Plus, with the new built in Wi-Fi features you can easily share those pictures instantly with family and friends..SWEET. Then you don’t have to remember to email them later lol. I always seem to forget and get yelled at from my parents.

Nikon D5300 DSLR Camera
If you are thinking about a camera for you or a loved one this year, let me introduce you to the Nikon D5300 DSLR Camera. DSLR means digital single lens reflex camera combined with a digital imagining sensor…… in other words it means it’s a camera that does not take film…. now that’s your lesson in photography for today, lol. This camera also comes with built in Wi-Fi so you can share your pictures with ease! I love how you can even control the camera remotely through the Nikon app from your phone or tablet.
Megapixels is also a big deal when talking cameras. This baby has 24.2. The latest smartphone that is all the craze only has 8 MP for those of you that will just use your phone! The Sony Alpha A6000 is also a great choice! It is a compact camera system with a retractable lens. It is a 24.3 Mega Pixel camera and HD video recorder.
This camera also comes with the built in Wi-Fi. Can you tell I think this is a really cool feature LOL!
The Sony Alpha A6000 is said to be the fastest camera around for auto focusing. This is great when trying to capture those impromptu moments. It also take pictures at an fast 11 frames per second and come with image stabilization. Again these are just a few of the features of this camera form Sony!
Samsung Galaxy 2
The third camera that you should check out is the Samsung Galaxy 2 at Best Buy! This is the lowest priced camera of the three but still packs a big punch! This little guy is a 16.3 Mega Pixel camera and does high definition video as well! Sandy keeps one like this and calls it her “purse camera”.
It comes with a 21X optical zoom, a 4.8 inch digital touch screen (very cool), as well as the image stabilization feature. The image stabilization is definitely something you will want on your camera too.
Like the other two, the Samsung Galaxy 2 is also Wi-Fi enabled for easily sharing your photos. This camera comes with 8GB of internal storage and lets you add a memory card to hold even more photos.
