JBL Reflect Sport Headphones Review
The First item that Best Buy sent me are the very cool JBL Reflect Headphones. These headphones come with a lot of the latest features including noise isolation, a reflective cord, an inline 3 button remote that will even accept calls and a magnetic cable management system. The coolest feature though is the patented ergonomic earbuds that stay in place in your ears even during the most intense workouts.

Price: Regularly $59.99 (on sale during event)
My Thoughts: I love the patented earbuds on these JBL headphones! When I work out, I of course listen to music, but nothing drives me crazy more than my earbuds falling out when I’m in the middle of my routine. So I had switched to some that went over my ear so they would stay in place. The nuisance of having the over the ear holder and discomfort was better than typical earbuds falling out all the time. These JBL’s take care of all these issues for me. I am a huge fan of these now and they are the only headphones I use when working out. The earbuds stay in place with their design and they are very comfortable. Almost don’t know they are there! The sound on these babies are really great too. Very crisp and clear! Of course being JBL’s you know you are always getting a great sound.
I don’t tend to jog at night, but if you do the reflect band on these headphones is a neat feature as well. I also appreciated the earbuds being magnetic so you could clip them together when storing. Really helps keep the cords from getting as tangled.
JBL Clip Bluetooth Portable Speaker Review
The second JBL product that Best Buy sent me to check out was the JBL Clip Bluetooth Speaker. This speaker connects wirelessly via Bluetooth (with compatible devices) to stream music to it. It will even connect your phone calls and allow you to listen / talk through it much like on a speaker conference phone. It comes with a built in carabiner so you can easily attach it to you belt loop, a backpack or many other places you might want. This speaker has a built in rechargeable battery and of course the awesome sound you get from all JBL speaker technologies.

My Thoughts: The more I play with this little guy the more uses I discover for it. This is a really cool portable speaker with some great sound. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and it really easy to pair (I’m using an iPhone 5s). I tested the distance between the speaker and my phone to see when it would start to break up. I was really impressed! No issue until after I reached 75ft from the speaker. Pretty good range. I’m sure some things will factor into this so that range may vary depending on where you are. You can also plug directly into your device as well so Bluetooth isn’t the only option. As far as power, it comes with a built in rechargeable battery that you simply plug into a USB port to charge. I do wish the cable that came with the speaker was longer. It is very short at only about 12inches or so. The carabiner style clip is great too. Easy to use.
I’m thinking this speaker is going to be great when we go to the beach. We can clip it to our canopy tent and be good to go. I always bring a small empty cooler to put my phone, Kindle etc in so they don’t get wet. I can just turn my music on the phone, toss it in the cooler and stream to the speaker. SWEET. We have been using it to listen to music on our patio as well when we go out at sit in the evenings and play cards or whatever. If you are a hiker this will be great too. You can clip it right to a belt loop or backpack.
As I mentioned earlier, let me know if you have any questions? And make sure to head over to Best Buy and check out the Audio Fest! You have until August 30th only.
