A&E Entertainment British Comedy DVD Series Review and Giveaway!

We were pretty excited when A&E Entertainment asked us to work with them and talk about their British Comedy classic DVD sets! My oldest daughter Destiny was extremely happy about it LOL. She LOVES British comedy and couldn’t wait to get her hands on one of the sets.

So we decided to check out the Benny Hill: The Complete Megaset the Thames Years.

Benny Hill is a very funny man who writes his own skits and is the main actor in all of them. His unique, silly comedy type skits are very funny… for adults only of course. However, our oldest daughter is 17 and is in love with everything British. We introduced her to Benny Hill… it is awesome to see and hear her laugh.

58 episodes
And 585 sketches.

The fun will last for a long time. Each episode is 45 minutes to an hour long and is great for watching with dinner on the couch. Personally, I think Benny Hill is a nut but that’s what makes him so funny. These episode were first aired in the 1960’s and they have stood the test of time. If you like Monty Python: The Flying Circus or Mr. Bean the TV show then you will absolutely love Benny Hill. His funny skits range from the Revolutionary war to a Paradise cruise ship party. What makes it fantastic is it’s occasional guest singers that takes you back a in time. This set even comes with Bonus Quizzes and some special bonus episodes.
