I remember when my son was a wee lad, we wanted to provide him with toys that would boost his imagination and allow him to learn a thing or two when playing with them. So I was pretty excited when I saw the new V-Tech toys and was asked to review them for all of you! So check out the post and be ready to tell us your thoughts?
For the first time ever, VTech® brings together two of boys’ most popular toys – dinosaurs and vehicles - into a unique 2-in-1 play experience. Introducing VTech® Switch & Go Dinos™ – the Ultimate Boy’s Toy. It’s even interactive and educational on top of that! SWEET right?
My son is almost 14 and the Switch & Go are a bit young for him…..but he did say, “why didn’t they have these when I was little, these are beast”… yes, beast is a good thing. I do, however, have a 7 year old nephew that was more than happy to help me review the Switch & Go Dinos.
Braydon went nuts for the Switch & Go Dinos. I was impressed at how easily the toy switched from dino to car… it was easy for him to figure out. In no time we were transforming back and forth, running over things and roaring like dinosaurs!…. (after we got all the packaging off that is…..like breaking into Fort Knox anymore to get toys out of the box LOL)
The Switch & Go Dino’s has some very cool features:
- 2-in-1 toy easily transforms from a dino to a vehicle and back again (I liked the quality of the moving parts. Seems like it will hold up through a lot of transforming)
- Features over 50 wild sound effects and phrases….Oh, yeah!
- LCD screen plays cool dinosaur and driver animations
- Talk button plays fun phrases and dino facts
- Realistic sounds and cool graphics
Braydon’s favorite part of the Switch & Go Dinos was the LCD screen. He loved pushing the buttons and watching Milo (that’s what he named the green one) eyes come to life. Braydon named the blue one Spike, fitting since Spike is a Triceratops.
I am impressed at the price of these Dino’s… You can now get The four Starter Dinos: Sliver the T-Rex, T-Don the Pteranodon, Tonn the Stegosaurus and Horns at Amazon.com for a suggested retail price of $15.99. Starting June 18th you can also grab them on the VTech website.
I think these would make any young boy very excited and at that price point makes for a great birthday party gift as well!
So which of the new Switch & Go Dinos do you think your son/nephew/ grandson maybe would like the best?
