Softlips Pure Lip Conditioners Review and Giveaway!

One of my favorite things is stealing kisses from my wife at every chance I get. One, because I love her to death and I still get butterflies in my belly every time I do it.  Two,  because her lips are always so soft and moist making them very kissable. My wife has always used Carmex in the past as her lip conditioner of choice. My only complaint has been the funky taste if I catch her soon after she applies some to her lips.

So when I was contacted by the marketing folks from Softlips and asked to give their product try I jumped at the chance. They sent me quite a few samples to try, some being their line of Organic lip conditioners called Pure.

The Pure line by Softlips is their Certified Organic line made of 100% natural ingredients. Even the packaging is recyclable and printed with vegetable based ink. I just love things that have the added bonus of being environmentally friendly!  The ingredients for the lip conditioners are things like Shea butter, pure organic oils, beeswax and even vitamin E to help your lips stay healthy. No synthetic chemicals at all.

Ok, so back to my little complaint above about taste. The Softlips Pure products have 6 different flavors available and we were able to try 4 of them.

The 6 flavors they offer are:

Pomegranate and Honeydew plus four new flavors of peppermint, acai berry, papaya and chai tea.

The flavors are light so they are not overwhelming and they are so much better than that funky taste I talked about earlier. I think I found a winner!

So the wonderful people at Softlips have given me the chance to Giveaway to one lucky winner a set of the 4 new flavors in the Pure line of Softlips lip conditioners!

The giveaway will end at midnight CST on Sunday, November the 8th. I will draw the winner using random.org and notify them early in the week by email (make sure to give a good email address when leaving the comment). The winner will have 48 hours to respond to claim their prize.

They all sound great, but just thinking about a pure peppermint lip balm makes me all tingly! Good for the holiday season, too. Being a Carmex junkie, I can totally relate with your wife using it. But yeah I think since it is right under the nose, our brain stops smelling it at some point. :)

I’m sure I’ll like the peppermint, although the others sound good too. I’m also excited to see that the company’s PURE line is offering a fragrance-free balm. Since hubby has scent-triggered allergies, I’ll be looking for that one in stores.
