Review / Opinions:
I’m on the road a lot for my job and always have to carry a laptop with me (a lot of times I carry two). I also like to travel with my wife on vacation. It seems we are always planning our next trip. The one thing that does gets cumbersome is digging through my bag trying to find my laptop so I can get through security. It is actually quite humorous at times, especially when I have two laptops. I’ll have a whole caravan of things on the belt with 3 to 4 bins, my rolling luggage and my computer brief case. To help make life a little easier when traveling Travel Pro has created a new computer brief. They are calling it the “Travel Pro Checkpoint Friendly Computer Brief”. According to Travel Pro, all you have to do is unzip the back of the computer briefcase and
pass the bag through the X-ray. There is no need to take your laptop out and place it in a bin. You no longer have to separate your laptop from your other belongings. All I would need is just one bin for my shoes, belt, keys, and wallet (maybe a second for that other laptop LOL).
This is a high quality, well made and durable brief case. It is very stylish and professional looking. The zippers flow smoothly and are top quality as well so appear like they will hold up for a long time. The shoulder strap is very comfortable and fully adjustable. The nylon fabric is treated with DuraGuard so it is stain resistant This is also a great feature to have. How many times have you spilled a little coffee as you were digging around for your boarding pass to get on the plane. There is also a “hidden” mesh pocket that will fit most water bottles. You can zip up this pocket when not in use. The size of the CFCB is perfect for the overhead compartment or to slide under the seat in front of you.
The Travel Pro is designed to fit most 17″ laptops. There is also plenty of room for business cards, pens, pencils. I love that it has a quick loop on the back of it so it can easily slide over the handle of your rolling luggage. To me this is one of the best features so you do not have all that weight pulling down on your neck and shoulder as you walk through the airport. Too many times I have gone to meetings with a stiff neck or pulled back.
The Travel Pro CFCB was the winner of the 2009 Leading Edge Award from Executive Travel Magazine for “The Best Carry-on Case.”
As a frequent traveler I would highly recommend the Travel Pro Checkpoint Friendly Computer Brief. It is built to last, is very professional looking at has a ton of organizational features to hold everything you need on your trip. With the added benefit of an easier trip through security, this a must for any business traveler.
